The Cantonese are world famous for their dim sum (spot on/place in the heart) snacks. These snacks are for example: small pies made of steamed or fried dough with meat or seafood stuffing sweet pies steamed scones stuffed rice flour pancakes and numerous other variations.			One usually has dim sum for lunch or as hors d'oeuvre.
